122 Fairplay Street, Downtown Rutledge, GA - 706-557-9337
Our uniquely renovated turn-of-the-century drug store, built in 1893 , sets the tone
for a great trip down memory lane! The Rutledge Family , originally from South Carolina,
was one of the first families to occupy Morgan County. After the Georgia Railroad
was built this area became known as the "turn around" town for trains to refuel and
water near Miss Polly Rutledge's log cabin.
The cafe was originally opened Labor Day, 1991. The Polly Rutledge Room was added
in May 1992, and was once the local general store. The staff at Yesterday's Cafe
hope you enjoy your visit to our charming town.
